People can be in the picture if there is a jaw-dropping backdrop. No selfies please. The three photos with the most likes and shares will win one of our great prizes:

Our memories tend to fade the farther away from an event it gets. But, photographs give us a way to freeze time and capture our most precious moments. The best photographs do more than just look good. The best photographs tell a story. Through the lens they offer us a view into another life and time. We see sadness, joy, and wonder. Our imagination is inspired by great photography.
The beauty and majesty of fall are the perfect opportunity to get outside and take memorable photos. Feel free to get out, go to your favorite nature trail, mountaintop, or beach, and tell the rest of us your story through the lens of your camera.
Behzad Zandinejad is not just a Marin County real estate broker. He also studied film in San Francisco and has made several documentaries. One of the things he loves most about Marin is the vibrant artistic spirit. This photo contest is his way of giving back to the creative people of Marin and giving more people a chance to show their artistic talents.
The winner of this year’s photo contest will be announced on December 20th, just in time for the Christmas holiday. But, Marin.com will be making this an annual event. If you don’t have the perfect photo for this year, you can get an early start on next year’s contest.
